Spring

Christopher Carpenter over at W&L Called me yesterday minutes after I emailed him about Morels to ask if I wanted to take a couple pounds off his hands. Tyler is going to the source today to get some Ramps and hopefully more morels.

Lamb Belly

Our best Lamb belly preparation yet "pulled pork lamb". Not much to look at but it tastes great. Lamb Belly cooked in NC BBQ Sauce 66 degrees 24 hrs.

Old Camera

As a result of Colleen's new Camera I get the old Camera at work. So hopefully I will get some more food shots.

Onions Butter and Whisky. Some great sweet onions from Elk Run Farm I love the farmers markets starting back up. And a little late night snack Bacon chocolate cake and Ancient Ancient Age Bourbon trust me it is better then its price tag.

New Camera

Colleen is Loving her new Camera Thanks to Shola and my mom for making this a great surprise. I can't wait until she takes some food and restaurant pictures.

Brendan's Turnips Raw with Black Butter, Sherry Vinegar and Thyme

Forno Beet Salad with Smoked Hazelnuts, Arugula Flowers and Blue Cheese added later

Confit Ribeye with Carrots, Carrot Meringue, onions and Cracked Wheat

Brown Butter Cake with Dulche de Leche, Milk Foam, Hazelnut Praline

We also did some really fun Basil milk chocolate truffles.
